How a website project happens, from briefing to launch

A good result comes from a clear process. Here are the steps I follow in every project.

How a website project happens, from briefing to launch

Building a website goes far beyond choosing colors and putting information on a screen. Behind a good result there is planning, development and a sequence of decisions that need to make sense for the business. That is why I follow an organized process, so the client knows what is being done and what comes next.

1. Briefing: understand before creating

It all starts with a conversation. I want to get to know the business, the audience, the goals and the needs of the client. The better I understand the project, the greater the chances of building a solution that really works, instead of just delivering a page that looks nice.

2. Planning: define the path

With the information in hand, I organize the site structure, the content, the features and the navigation. This stage helps set priorities and avoids improvised decisions during development.

3. Design: give shape to the idea

Now it is time to define the visual identity, how the information is organized and the browsing experience. Every element needs a function, from the choice of colors to the position of a button. The goal is to combine beauty, clarity and ease of use.

4. Development: turn the project into reality

With the structure defined, programming begins. The layout comes to life, the features are implemented and the site starts to respond to the needs of the business. Whenever the project calls for it, I also build a custom admin panel, so the client can update content independently.

5. Testing: check every detail

Before launch, I check that the features work, the navigation, how the site looks on computers and phones, and possible performance problems. This stage is essential to fix flaws and ensure a consistent experience for visitors.

6. Launch: time to go live

With the adjustments finished, I prepare the launch and put the site in its final environment. I also check the main points of operation after it goes live, because a project does not end simply when the files are sent to the server.

7. Follow-up: the work continues

After launch, the site may need guidance, fixes or improvements as the business evolves. My commitment is to keep clear communication about what was delivered and about the needs that come up, respecting the scope agreed for each project.

A well-built website is not born from improvisation. It is the result of a process in which each stage prepares the next. When there is planning, communication and technical care, the client gains more clarity, confidence and a digital solution built for their goals.
